Hi - I'm Jason. founder of Luminate. I believe coffee is more than a drink, it’s a craft, a moment, and an experience.
Trained as an SCA Professional barista and with 10 years of experience in specialty coffee industry, I've worked at coffee bars, co-working spaces, events trailers and roasteries in roles from barista to trainer to wholesale account manager and everything in between. Throughout that journey I have trained teams to refine technique, improve service, and bring care to every cup. Training over 300 baristas and consulting on over 30 new openings.
I offer hands-on barista training, tailored consultancy, and group workshops, all designed to build confidence, sharpen skills, and make coffee enjoyable to prepare and share. Every session combines practical expertise with thoughtful guidance, leaving you with both knowledge and ease in your craft.
From menu design and workflow advice, to maximising economic and environmental sustainability, my approach balances professional insight with simplicity, helping businesses, coffee professionals and home enthusiasts serve better, work smarter, and create experiences.
